Getting Things Done in a Bureaucracy

Mark Schwartz

Enterprise Strategist at Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Om foredraget

What could be more fun than a masterclass in bureaucracy? Join Mark Schwartz, AWS Enterprise Strategist and author of The (Delicate) Art of Bureaucracy to explore ways to get things done in a bureaucracy, even a thorough, enterprise-wide digital transformation. Mark led such a transformation in the US Department of Homeland Security, which – no surprise – is bureaucratic, but has also helped AWS customer leaders confront bureaucracy in their own organizations, whether in banking, healthcare, manufacturing, or nonprofits. Mark will show how to apply the techniques of the Monkey, the Razor, and the Sumo Wrestler to overcome bureaucratic impediments, and – as a bonus – how to set up your own agile bureaucracy.
